Jillian Cross M.Ed.

A native of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Jillian Cross is a highly motivated educator committed to providing equitable educational opportunities for historically underrepresented student groups. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and her Master’s Degree in Education from Iowa State University. Cross currently attends North Carolina State University as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development. Since 2014, Cross has worked in higher education at various universities. It was her personal experience as a low-income single parent in college, combined with her academic and professional background in higher education that led to her founding Hope Her Way. Cross often says, “Hope Her Way is definitely a God thing. It’s a part of my life’s purpose".
